Calling a piece of art ‘a quickie’ probably isn’t the best way to sell it but often the best paintings are done in one session and hopefully you’ll agree this is a nice one. In this case I haven’t got any choice but to work fast because my book designer has informed me that he needs three more Suzi’s for chapter headings and another painting for the back cover before we go to press in 10 days. Sadly I’ve already mucked up the back cover pic (Suzi Does The Bride Of Frankenstein) but hopefully I can rescue that and get two more alla prima quickies done before I run out of time!
