The best thing about this Scream Queen collection is that every painting is done in a single session, albeit a brain bustingly long 12 hour one! This means that none of the brush strokes are hidden under layers of glazing and all the pieces are looser and more interesting. On Fay I’m tempted to go back in and tidy up a few bits but I think I’ll leave it as it is as it has a nice 1930’s poster quality to it. Hope you all agree!
