If you want confirmation that I’m not the brightest bulb in the box then you only have to check out the photo above. The internet is stuffed full of superb, hi res images of Marilyn Monroe and dumbass here goes and chooses an old black and white, low resolution one from 1947 to start his new ‘Hollywood Icons’ series off with. Even worse, she was brunette and looked so totally different back then that even Elton John would fail to pick her out of a line up!
On the plus side, I doubt any other artist has been stupid enough to tackle this pic so you’ll probably be alone in having a superb oil painting of Marilyn Monroe’s first topless photo shoot from 1947 hanging on your wall!
